He is the chief surgeon, MD, Master supervisor of hepatobiliary?surgery department in Third Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University. He has been engaged in clinical and basic research work of primary liver cancer for many years. He accumulated rich clinical experience in surgery treatment and radiofrequency ablation of liver cancer. Over the years, he was involved in the MSC (mesenchymal stem cell) treatment for liver fibrosis. He successfully completed the ?first " autologous bone marrow stem cells transplantation in treatment of liver fibrosis via portal vein”. He completed the first "hand-assisted laparoscopic splenectomy for portal hypertension" in China.
